Consultation:
At Legends we encourage you to ask questions and clearly communicate what you are looking for. It is always a great idea to bring in several pictures that have some specific features that you are interested in. We also provide photos for your viewing. Pictures are a great visual for the designer to be able to tell if your hair is able to recreate that specific look. Always make sure that there is a clear understanding of the services to be performed.

Aftercare:
Always ask your designer what the proper after care products are. Using proper products at home is as important as the service itself. Investing in the proper home care products is truly essential to maintain a healthy look. Designers are always available to recommended the proper product for your particular hair condition.

Maintenance:
If you were growing your hair out proper time in between appointments would be eight to ten weeks. If you are maintaining a certain cut, depending on how fast your hair grows; proper time would be four to six weeks.

Hair styling:
When blow-drying always use a medium setting or you can overheat the hair causing it to have split ends. We also recommend thermal protectant product applied to hair prior to blow-drying. These products will protect your hair from heat.

If you find that curling your hair with a curling iron just isn't working, try spraying a little classic hair spray in your hair before curling. This will help keep the curls in and give you more body and shape.

Perming colored hair:
Perming colored hair is definitely possible, it is advised to wait at least a week in between services. We also recommend doing a protein treatment prior to your service. This treatment will strengthen the hair up to 56% and prepare your hair for chemical services.

Long hair:
It is very important to receive a trim every eight to ten weeks, this will help keep those ugly split ends off and keep the hair looking healthy as possible. We also recommend keratin hair treatment, to help maintain strength and moisture to your hair.

Fine hair:
To achieve the best result with fine hair we recommend the volumizing line of hair treatment. You will be amazed with the great control you will now have. Also to get more volume and body try blow-drying your hair with your head up-side down.
